THE STONEKEEPER - MMXVI

This limited-edition design piece celebrates marble as a timeless and elegant natural material.

A selection of three different marble types is used in a geometric pattern of three interlocking disks. The age old technique of marble inlay is applied in a contemporary design to create a seamless surface, whilst the graphic application celebrates the opulent nature and abundant variety of the natural stone. The table top is supported by a steel frame.

No two inlays will ever look the same, making the piece truly unique. THE STONEKEEPER - MMXVI was exhibited as part of A New Wave, at Southern Guild gallery in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
